Biography
Tim Higgins has been in the interior design business for 35 years. After 5 years working in Commercial and Theatrical design, Tim started Tempting Interiors on Rte 9 in Framingham, MA. For 15 years Tim and his staff established design clients throughout the Metrowest area, working on projects large and small from Vermont to Virginia, from Buffalo to Bermuda.
Wanting the perfect working environment and a better way to display and present the design philosophy of Tempting Interiors, Tim and Diane Higgins purchased a small lot in Southboro, MA, 4 miles west of the original Framingham location, and built a wonderful design studio. Diane joined Tim full time at Tempting Interiors in 1992 and since that time, has added her tasteful touch and enthusiasm to the new spirit of Tempting Interiors.
As the chief buyer, Diane continues to present new, unique and wonderful lines of lamps, rugs and fabrics. Diane's determination has brought us into new partnerships, first with weavers of
the finest rugs and most recently with Grange Furniture, a 100-year old French furniture manufacturer with classic lines that is always the leader in the fashion furniture field.
Diane and Tim were born and raised in the Boston area with large local family ties. Both attended local colleges. Diane is an active member of the Interior Design Society (IDS).
